Reforestation Coordinator
under Association of Tanzania Tobacco Traders (ATTT) from September 2004 to March 2007 at Kahama Zone (including Bihalamulo, Bukombe and Kibondo). Main duties were
to provide extension services to Tobacco farmers on how they can restore the highly
deforested areas, training tree technicians on silvicultural technical aspects,
conducting seminars with farmers on various tree species selection aspects as far
as tobacco curing is concern, training tobacco farmers on tree woodlots management
as well as participatory forest management and to prepare, implement, evaluate and
control reforestation (Tree planting) budget within Kahama Zone |
